Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Territory / Technical Sales Representative to develop and manage equipment sales and rental opportunities within the construction and deep foundations industry. This role blends technical expertisebusiness development, and relationship management to drive territory growth.

You will work remotely while actively engaging with customers across the assigned region, identifying opportunities, providing technical solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction from initial inquiry through project completion.

 

Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue early-stage construction opportunities within the territory
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with contractors, engineers, and decision-makers
  • Generate qualified inquiries and leads to grow the territory sales pipeline
  • Prepare and present detailed equipment proposals and quotations

Technical Sales

  • Review construction documents and bid specifications to identify project needs
  • Recommend appropriate equipment solutions tailored to each project’s requirements
  • Collaborate with operations, parts, and service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

Territory Management

  • Conduct regular site visits to active construction projects
  • Organize and deliver presentations at customer offices
  • Network with key stakeholders and gather market intelligence
  • Monitor competitive activity within the territory

Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with national sales team on multi-region accounts
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events
  • Support company growth initiatives and sales campaigns
  • Maintain regular communication with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
Skill Requirements
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in construction, heavy equipment, or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of foundation, shoring, and pile driving equipment is preferred
  • Ability to interpret construction plans, bid specifications, and technical documents
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable with frequent travel across the territory
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite

 Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geotech, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering. Construction Management or Technical Field highly desired.
  • Experience or knowledge of the foundation and shoring industries.
  • Heavy equipment sales experience
  • Technical background 
Compensation
Compensation & Benefits
  • Highly competitive salary $60,000 up to $125,000: based on experience and education
