Hammer & Steel, Inc., a leading supplier of foundation and shoring equipment with six offices in the United States seeks an experienced Administrative Office Assistant who is detailed oriented and customer centric.
- Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
- Provide administrative support to sales and operations team as needed.
- Process Equipment Sale and Rental Agreements and obtain current and accurate Certificates of Insurance from customers.
- Work collaboratively with our valued external and internal customers including sales, service, parts and accounting departments.
- Work collaboratively with Sales and Operations groups in determining the availability of trucking for equipment assigned to customer projects.
- Code and approve vendor invoices for payment by home office.
- Loading documents into paperless document tracking system.
- High school graduate with a preference for those with a bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- Two (2) years previous work history.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Suite of Products including Excel, Word and Office required.
- Experience with office equipment (e.g. scanners, printers, fax and phone systems).
