The Junttan PM 20 is a compact piling rig for pile driving timber, steel and concrete piles. It combines lightweight construction with the capacity for heavy-duty pile driving. The recommended hammer ram weight is from 4,000 to 5,000 kg (8,800 – 11,000 lbs) and the maximum pile length is 20 meters (66 ft).
This rig has proven productivity due to its excellent mobility. The telescopic leader ensures easy and fast handling of piles while an optional side drill or vibrator hammer makes pile driving even more efficient in many soil conditions. With other optional Junttan equipment, optimized working set-up of the rig can be easily achieved.
While very mobile, the PM 20 still has the same proven features as the bigger Junttan machines. Its rugged design makes it a safe and reliable even in the most demanding working conditions while the self-erecting leader and numerous advanced technical features ensure that the rig is ready to work in just a few minutes. The ergonomic and safety-tested cabin allows the driver to concentrate completely on his work.
Expandable tracks and a low center of gravity make the rig exceptionally stable in different working situations and the horizontal movement of the leader ensures fast spotting of the pile. As an additional benefit, its lightweight construction and compact size allow the rig to be easily transported to a new worksite.
